Randle Siddeley are experts in landscape design for country estates.  With over forty years of experience, we have created impressive and expansive country estate schemes on estates of up to 40,000 acres internationally.

Our approach to country estate design focuses on creating a holistic series of functional yet aesthetically-pleasing outdoor spaces around the principal residence and then developing sustainable estate management plans to develop the wider park.

Our services include everything required to develop your estate into a smart, yet sustainable proposition.  This starts at the macro/masterplanning level, including the removal and amendment of water courses; the enlargement, creation or removal of lakes and ponds; development of road networks and estate infrastructure.

From there, we are able to restore or design anew formal entranceways, parterres, mazes, driveways, walled gardens, sunken lawns, cutting gardens, kitchen gardens, winter gardens and greenhouses, potagers and woodland.

Our Construction Division are able to source and plant mature trees, hedging and assist in the creation of orchards and copses.  We are also able to access some of the most exclusive topiary stock available and to assist in the creation of magical, large-scale estate transformations.

On a more leisurely bent, we are able to soften and lessen the impact of swimming pools, tennis courts, golf tees, children's play areas, trampolines and quad tracks, assist in the creation of equestrian facilities (including outbuildings, manèges and arenas) and design and build solid or grass-based helipads.

Because of the scale of some of the estates that we work on, we understand that often the landscaping of an estate is a phased process.  We are able to provide advice on the sequencing and phasing of the works and to assist in the sourcing and training of your resident maintenance teams.
